What is your favorite movie that was made into a Disneyland attraction or made from one?

My favorite would have to be Swiss Family Robinson, which we all know had the tree house based off of it.

Made from an attraction? Just look at your avatar, DG. "Pirates" rocked!

Made into an attraction? I'd have to say all of Toontown.

"Pirates" is the best movie made from an attraction, but with the exception of HM, are there any other movies made from attractions?

I think this is a new trend with Disney and I hope they keep it going, I love it!

There was "The Country Bears"... as well as "Tower of Terror", although ToT was more of a DC original movie or something. Hm... that might be it..

I forgot about Country Bears! That was cute, but of course not on calliber with POTC, but that's a hard movie to live up to, IMO.

What about a jungle cruise movie???

I'm all for that, but the big question would be whether or not the animals would talk.

I've heard there are rumors of a Jungle Cruise movie... but I'm not sure if that'll really come to pass. What would happen in a movie like that?

I don't know, but I think it would need to be kinda silly and slapstick like the spiels on the ride. I think there is great potential there.

Yeah.. can't really make a somewhat serious story. Or maybe it can start like a group of people start on a typical cruise in the jungles... then some kind of silly adventure happens.. then the boat continues on its course and is captured by the natives!! ....Then before all hope is lost, they somehow escape and the passengers learn some sort of family/moral value. *shrug*

Just think of all the visual pieces they could pull into a movie like the natives up the tree and the overturned jeep. And so many jokes in the spiel could easily become pieces of a script.

Which would also mean that the natives would somehow be included into the movie... and hopefully it could be done without too much complaint. It could be made into a good movie.. I've got faith in them.

...Otherwise I would have refused to see Haunted Mansion because of some of the cast choices, even though it ended up as a fairly decent movie. I'd rather not pass judgement before I actually get to see it... which explains why I didn't put a wait time in for Buzz in the Waiting Times thread.
