  • Best Music For a Disneyland Ride

I would like you to list your opinion of the best music (background an/'or foreground) for a Disneyland ride in each of the park's lands. If none of the attractions stand out to you, musically speaking, for a given land, then don't list the land.

    Here are my choices.

Main Street: Disneyland, The First 50 Magical Years

    Tomorrowland: Star Tours

    Fantasyland: Peter Pan

    Frontierland: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

New Orleans Square: Pirates of the Caribbean

Critter Country: Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

    Adventureland: Tiki Room

Toon Town: Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin

Well, my favorite ride for songs is Splash Mountain. I love that ride! And, it has so many songs, most of which are good!

I love the Winnie and Splash queue music. Totally sweet.

For area music, SM bathrooms are great and I love Toon Town music. It seems highly underrated to me. I love all the old cartoon themes.

        without a doubt, Casey Jr.

i think this is the only ride at DLR in which a song inspired the ride.

I loved all the songs on Country Bears.

BUT THEY TORE IT DOWN TO PUT IN THE EVER-SO-SUCKY POOH RIDE!

Perhaps the Bears will turn up again at DCA one would hope. The attraction's still popular at WDW.

Had the Country Bears remained in Critter Country, I would definitly have chosen it's music as my favorite for that land

Main Street - probably one of the background songs
Adventureland - Tiki Room (what else?)
New Orleans Square - Swanee River (I have no idea if that spelling is correct)
Critter Country - Splash Mountain (specifically: "How do you do")
Frontierland - I can't think of any music that would make me instantly think of Frontierland
                Fantasyland - Mad Tea Party
                Tomorrowland - Star Tours
                Toontown - Roger Rabbit

The Bears at DCA. Here's a themed area for it...the California Golden Bear Berkeley Country Hoedown and Sit-In...

:lmao: And they sing protest songs and SMOKE bluegrass!

                    "Come gather 'round people
                    Wherever you roam
                    And admit that the waters
                    Around you have grown
                    And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone.
                    If your time to you
                    Is worth savin'
                    Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'."

This would fit right in as the hippies used to run around "bear" all the time.

Toontown - Downtown Background Music, especially "Minnie's YooHoo"
Tomorrowland - Space Mountain, specifically the musical cue as you climb the launch tube... magical!!! I could ride all day just for those few moments as the music builds with anticipation.
