  • RockIt Mountain Video! (Made with RCT3)

The past 2 weeks I've been making my own version of "RockIt Mountain" on rollercoaster tycoon 3. Here's the finished product! It's quite awesome.

That's really nice. I didn't know RCT 3 could do all that. Good work.

Stalking is when two people go for a long romantic walk together but only one of them knows about it.

That would be a mess, and mega-expensive - they'd have to totally re-engineer the entire ride, and re-engineer how they stuff it into the existing building - and that's a rather daunting task.

It was a whole lot easier to haul out the old blueprints of the ride, dust them off and bring them up to modern safety specs, and put them out to bid for two identical sets of new tracks - a replacement set for Anaheim, and a new set for Tokyo. Bulk Discount.

Sweet, yes RCT3 is a pretty awesome game. Takes a strong computer with a good graphics card though.

                And thanks everyone.

The new one. Although if I post the video, it will start at the top of the last lift, because I don't have the lift music.

EDIT: I'm working on the star patterns, and reentry tunnel, so I should be done soon.

Actually the 2nd set was for Hong Kong, not Tokyo. And I don't think that they got a "Bulk" as 2 seperate companies did the track for each park.

Hong Kong Disneylands version was done by Vekoma with WDI providing the bodies.

Disneylands version was done by AMEC Dynamic Structures (The same people that did Soarin') with the exception of the station and lift track which is still the old track. WDI provided the cars.

I'd recomed the following as a minimum if you plan on doing full parks:

                            Intel 4 2ghz or AMD xp 2800+
                            1gb memory (2gb even better)
                            128mb video card with hardware T&L dx9.0c compatable (radeon 9700pro / gforce 5 series)
Fast hard drive ata 133 or sata capable.

That should keep a decient frame rate even with a stuffed park

Okay, I'm a bit behind, but what exactly is Rockit Mountain? Where would it be going? Sorry if this isn't the right thread to ask in.
