  • Presenting a ring to your girlfriend in Disneyland

    Hey all,
My Girlfriend and I are going to Disneyland tommorow for 6 days and it is our 2 year anniversary also. Im looking for ideas on where to give her a ring that I bought her. Its not a engagement ring but more of a (I dont like this phrase)a promise ring. Id like to give it to her in the park. Were eating at the Blue Bayou tommorow night. Any ideas are greatly appreciated

Im bored, lets go to Disneyland.

I second Snow Whites grotto, or at the BB. Perhaps on the drawbridge of the Castle???

Any place that you find to be special. Maybe on the carosel. I agree with BB and Snow White's Grotto.

Go on a ride where you have your photo taken and secretly be holding the ring and when you get to the photo part, hold it out to her. Then tell her you want to go look at the pictures at the end, she sees it, and then you give her the actual ring. And then you can buy the photo to commemorate the event!

or you could buy her an ice cream sundae & have it around the cherry on top.

i'm a bit concerned though.... is she going to KNOW it's NOT an engagment ring????

I've seen CM's allow people to go on the balcony in the Blue Bayou for ring exchanges... but they were always engagment rings... might be nice....

I think New Orleans Square is the most romantic place. Courtyard of Angels, or on the balcony of the gallery. What is her favorite place?? How about on the Mark Twain or during the Hill Billy show? That would be a show stopper!

I would have to agree with Snow White grotto.

If you're already in the Blue Bayou with the candlelight, etc., I'm thinking that would probably be the place. I proposed at the Disneyland Hotel 17 years ago this Summer. You can't go wrong with Disneyland....unless she hates all things Disney. In which case, you should probably dump her.

I recently had some success at the big fireplace in the lobby of the Grand Californian.

Very romantic atmosphere, plus it's not the "usual" spot. It's a very special place.... I can't recommend it highly enough!

Re: Presenting a ring to your girlfriend in Disneyland

It all depends on her. What's her favorite attraction, or favorite people watching spot. Did either of you used to work in the park? Mr Toad isn't really romantical, but if that's you're favorite ride, then give her the ring . . in hell )
