Disneyland Refurbishments

Thanks for the info. It's appreciated.
Didn't DL just refurb the TL RR station about a year ago. I've heard that they're going to completely rebuild it. Why would they refurb it and then a year(or less) later, tear it down? Whatever; seems like a waste of time/money to me. And to be honest, it looks good to me. But, what do I know. Thanks again.

Also, it looks like they pushed the closing of Great Moments.... back a bit. That's good to hear. I'll be there in a couple of weeks and will be able to see it one last time before it's, possibly, gone to Yesterland.

While I have absolutely no info, I would assume it's fairly difficult to push a 250 lb man, in a wheelchair, up those steps

Festival of Fools

I read about 8 months or so, in one of al's columns, that the Festival of Fools is coming back. Is that ture? If it is, I have to say that was the best show I have ever saw at Disneyland in that Genre.

Mickey's House (and Minnie's, too) isn't the kind of attraction that usually requires that long of a downtime unless they're going to repaint the whole house, and I thought Toontown just recently got a whole new coat. Odd.

Yeah they did a little over a year ago and sadly its already fading. But they did not paint the inside of Mickey or Minnie's. They just painted the houses and Gadget's Go Coaster. The inside needed some attention though. Mickey still stands on the porch of his house at least.

The Walt Disney Story, like Disneyland RR Guy mentioned, will close on feb 22nd..it might have been close for technical difficulties!
