Once Again, there has been NOTHING reported on the actual event!!

Nobody knows yet if they will allow park guests to watch the stars going down the Red Carpet, or even if they wil have the Red Carpet in the park....

Only Time Will Tell, and I doubt you will hear much about the actual plans until late May or early June.....

Has everyone here totally forgotten what they did to the Cast Members who worked that Premier Event for the first Pirates movie? The fact that during the showing of the movie all these CM's were kept virtual prisoners with guards outside in an area behind barriers, given a totally lame boxed lunch thing and then kept there until the movie was over so they could once again appear to escort people out of the area? It was an awful thing to do to CMs who jumped at the chance to help, thinking they might get to see the premiere of the movie and then were treated worse than servants? It was all Jerry Bruckheimer's fault and Pressler and Harris went along with it. I wonder if they will get any CM's to work this event after what they did last time. Only the very new and clueless ones I guess.

According to the new reference guide, the Blue Bayou reopens June 22nd, and Pirates reopens June 24th. I'd say that's a pretty good bet of when the premiere will be.

I've also heard rumours that this year, French Market will host the event over the Blue Bayou. This... breaks my heart. If I don't get to meet Keira Knightley (the subject of so so so many non-Disney-friendly dreams), I will probably cry every day for the rest of my life.

WooHoo. I booked the Grand for that weekend in the hope that the Premiere would be held then. I do remember there were rumors that the park would close at 6.00pm for the last premiere but park guests were able to stay and watch the red carpet arrivals, hopefully it will be the same this year.
