  • Guide to Parade of Dreams show stops

I figure this might be old hat since the parade's been out for nearly a year, but I searched the forums and couldn't find a similar thread, so here it is: a guide to where which floats stop for the Parade of Dreams show stops. I only know about Main Street, so perhaps someone who's actually seen the parade in other show stops can fill in the missing pieces. Anyway. It should be noted that these are approximate stops, and can differ by about ten feet in either direction.

"it's a small world" to Main Street, U.S.A.
    SECOND SHOW STOP
    Casey Jr./Fairies - Coke Corner

    FINAL SHOW STOP
    Casey Jr./Fairies - Opera House
Beauty and the Beast - train station
    Pinocchio - City Hall/Fire Dept.
Little Mermaid - Christmas Tree Point, in front of the Emporium
    Ursula - Cinema
Alice in Wonderland - Carnation Cafe
Lion King - Wizard of Bras porch
Sleeping Beauty's Castle - Coke Corner

For Alice in Wonderland, it's actually better if you're in front of the watch shop, to the end closer to Town Square as opposed to Main Street. Carnation actually puts you too far north of the float to see much.

For Lion King, can't think at the moment if it's the equivalent, but the best location at that stop is in front of the ice cream parlor. You get to see Nala waiving (which you can't see from the other side of the street, and you're right in front of the best aerist (if she's working that particular parade).

      hope that helps everyone!!

you can also go to the Intercotwest Guide to the Parade of Dreams. It's quite extensive and written by a very good friend of mine.

ALSO, if you're looking to get some interaction with the performers, PLEASE wave. or yelp. or do SOMETHING that warrants their attention and gives them a reason to interact with you. Sitting there looking bored will not help. It'll just make your parade experience even worse. I know for a FACT that the performers LOVE it when people get into the parade, clap along, wave "hi", and sing along. And if you're looking for that interaction, plan early to sit right along the parade route. Performers spend most of their energy performing to those who are close to them, rather than people standing far away.
