I am going to DL April 19-21. It is our spring break, but I'm wondering if the crowds will have noticeably thinned by then, or if I should prepare for battle. Anyone have a clue?

spring break season goes from about March 12 through April 24--though the peak is this week and next, there are people off for spring break throughout that entire time.

We're going to Disneyworld during our kids break which is April 11th through 15th.
It looks like we should be missing most of the Crowds since it's also just before the Flower and garden show starts there. The park does still list it as a "peak" period though.

Pyrates right, Spring break goes and goes and goes for ages.
Seems like most of this week, it has not been busy at the Parks. But today (Friday) Disneyland was very busy! I was there for about an hour and it was crazy! I got to the Main Gates and the line to get in was to the Monorail beam.. this was about 2:30pm. Then inside was pretty busy once you got past Main St. Buzz had a 65 minute wait. Autopia I did not see the time, but the line was almost to the Monorail Station. The Matterhorn's line was completely around the mountain, and then doubled up on itself in the back. Pirates had a 40 minute wait.. Splash Mountain was 180 minute wait. Haunted Mansion was 35 minutes. Indy was 120 minutes. I basically walked by those rides and then figured I'd better get out of there! Of course today is Good Friday and a very nice day after a pretty lousy week, weather-wise. This weekend is supposed be in in the 70s and even 80s on Sunday. So expect it to be very busy. Just a heads-up to everyone! Oh, and as I was leaving the park at around 3:30pm, the lines to get in were now out to the compass in the middle of the Entry Plaza (or Esplanade )!

Spring Break is over on April 2nd. April 2nd is the last day of our glorious '6 minute firework spectacular' until May. Plus, the new CM schedueles came out, we have pretty much all been overtime the last few weeks, and for the week ending April 9th- the hours have cut back, thus indicating lower projected attendance rates.
PEAK Easter Break at the DLR is the week before and week after Easter... but MANY schools (K thru 12, and colleges/universities) have different weeks, they started in early March, and the latest one I know of is some Utah schools will be in late April.
I will be visiting from the 18th to the 24th April, and although I have a reservation I have been playing around with other hotels and all of them come up saying no vacancy. So I just assumed it would be packed. Since I am leaving my husband and kids at home I am sure I will manage just fine!
