  • Are there more children at Disneyland this year than in years past?

Both parks seem to be overrun with children for some reason. Is this my imagination or are other people noticing a similar situation?

umm, it is Disneyland. I would assume there would be children there. Since there are more people at DL this year than this time last year I would also assume that there are more of them as well.

I presume you're talking about a merman and not bashing a religious group right? If so, why didn't you make references to minorities that are know to have large groups of family members?

Brings to mind the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Do you carry a round net over your back?

There aren't more children but the strollers are getting larger.

I'd say there is an increase in bad parents and bratty kids. Perfect example was the little 2 year old boy that kept kicking me. Eventually I asked the mom to make her child stop, and her genious reply was "He's two, I can't control him". At which point I began kicking them saying I was an AP and I can't be controlled....

                J/K!!!!

But yes, there was a very "interesting" exchange of words in the Matterhorn line.

Well, this mormon took her two kids there this year! We're not all 15 people families. I'm not offended, but, yes, we love the Disneyland! And don't forget - it is a place for everyone, especially families! If you read the thread about why you love Disneyland, most people enjoy it with their families!

                      You sound surprised?

Disneyland is for families and there are alot of kids at Disneyland, thats what Disneyland is for, families to enjoy the park together. But it doesn't mean to let the kids run amuck (spelling??) around the park. I like to use Push as an example.. since he gets abused so much by kids. Just this last Sunday, the kids were out of control with Push. He was kicked, climbed on and stopped while trying to move (where his bottom part drags on the ground). Most parents stop their kids but there are those few bad eggs that think because they are at Disneyland their kids could do whatever. The controllers are really good at getting most kids to stop.. The usually announce through Push.. Such, such kid in this color shirt, where is your parent? Or by saying.. Parents if you see your kids kicking the lovable trash can, could you please stop them. I have asked a few kids to knock it off. But most of the time, i'm afraid to jump in when the kids parents are around, I don't want any confrontation. I just want to watch people be entertained by Push and be entertained myself.
