  • Disneyland Canada?

    Okay, I really didn't know where to put this, so I decided here, move it if you wants Mods!

    Okay, why is there no Disneyland Canada yet.. seriously! I really think one would be good in Canada.. Not just because I'm Canadian, but because well, Canada needs more theme parks aswell, and a disneyland would be my first choice! I really do want one, and I hope Disney thinks of opening one up here... What are your thoughts?? Why isn't there one yet? What is going on!

    one simple fact;

    Climate

    It's to frickin COLD

    Disney Paris has the same problem except its cold and rains.

    Never gonna happen unless we get a polar shift or they build the whole thing indoors.
    Chances are better of the California getting a curling arena

      uhm thats a bit of a stereo type right there, because it isn't to cold, it probably gets as cold as say Disneyland Paris would, and they pull in numbers, and thats only during winter.. During the summer it's like a sauna..

        As I said climate. I would have loved Disney Midwest when I lived in Chicago.

            Trust me, the novelty wears off living close to anywhere. I'm 20 min from the park. You begin to dread family coming to visit, because you know they are going to drag you off to Disney. It great to go on your own terms, but dragging a bunch of "out of towners" around is a chore. Stick with the beauty of nature and don't wish the Disney scourge on the Canada's natural beauty. Hotels, parking lots its a mess. Disney is a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there or be any closer.

              I would visit Canada if it had a Disney park. I have wanted to visit forever, since I LOVE cold weather, and this would make me want to even more. If your summer gets up to 70 then count me in!

                  Yea and I want a new car. Aint' gonna happen.

                  Prepare for the Invasion of Olympic proportions because the Americans are coming and we want everything now, and you people move to slow and talk funny. We're going because my wife went to Ottawa and fell in love with curling and I'm a huge hockey fan. Plus we heard that place is real purdy in the winter time.

                    Re: Disneyland Canada?

                    Canada can have a Disneyland . . . only after AUSTRALIA!

                    We have no decent theme parks in this country (Dreamworld being the only exception, and incomparable I promise you). Plus, it's only fair Walt ventures BELOW the equator :thumbup:

                      At least the weather would be better for staying open all year.

                              It's nice to dream . . . truth be told I probably only want a Disneyland here for convenience. Much easier than packing up and moving to California.
