  • Disneyland Scavenger Hunt

Hey everybody. I'm trying to plan a Disneyland scavanger hunt for my student government. I don't want it to be TOO much out of the way so they got to spend all day running around, but just things they can catch or see while waiting in line or going on rides. Not necessarily a scavenger hunt, but more like a trivia/scavenger hunt kind of game. Any suggestions for questions? or IDEAS on how to make the game more interesting? Let's also remember these guys aren't disney fanatics.

It would be a good idea to stick to ride queues and stuff found around the park as you're walking by. Stay away from history, unless it's clearly visible (as with those rides with the "class of 55" plaque). Those, I think, are good guidelines, but remember to just make it fun!

I put on a similar thing about 3 or 4 weeks ago for my sister and her boyfriend, I was gonna tell you, that from my perspective, cheap is good!

First person to find Maynard and take their picture with him wins.

                  Re: Disneyland Scavenger Hunt

Good ideas, shucks, but I'd just be worried about the fortunes costing money (and you forgot Red in Pieces of Eight). Yeah, I know it's just a dollar, but you don't wanna get into something where one kid who only has a few buck for the day can't possibly do something, etc. But I still like it.

I did this a little while back as something different, but my scavenger hunt involved all of DCA and DtD too. I had clues (they rhymed, I put some time in this) and when my boyfriend figured it out and went and did what the clue said, I'd give him the next clue. For example, he had to make the apple in front of Snow White cackle, then have me take his picture with Hopper at DCA, then pet one of the goats at the petting zoo. We were running back and forth that day.

If you can afford it, make teams and get a few disposable cameras. Have the kids take pictures doing things like I mentioned above as well as riding in all the gold vehicles, get a picture with the gunner on the Columbia, get a "play" picture on TSI, take a pic of your favorite float in the parade. There are so many possibilities.
The King is back and he's ready to kick some tail. Do not mess with a mouse in black.

                    Yes, you still can.
You just can't win a car anymore.
                    Good morning, son
                    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
                    It was pain
                    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
