  • You might be a AP if....

Here is a great old game that some of you may have played before, for those of you who havent here is how it goes...

Do you remember those "you might be a redneck" jokes by Jeff Foxworthy, well this is the same deal except it will be "you might be an AP holder if..."! Even if you may not be an AP holder but are one at heart these can appliy to you as well! OK I'll start.

    ....You go to DCA

....You read miceage once a day (or check it)

....You refer to DL as my, our or the park

....You talk to strangers on POTC telling them very interesting info about the ride

I do a lot of this stuff (including live in CA) and I'm far from an AP.

When I think of someone who's too used to being an AP I think of...

                  - A friend from far out of state tells you that their family has finally saved enough money to take their kids to Disneyland. You scratch your head and wonder what the big deal is, having gone to the park so much that you can tell when they moved that ODV cart eight feet to the east.

Yes, yes, I do have Locals Envy. What made you ask?

You stand on the Thunder Mountain bridge for 15 minutes looking at the sad mess left by a tree falling over and crushing what is left of the Mine Train tressel and ore car.

... You buy a FM transmitter & mp3 player just to play DLR audio in the car w/o needing CDs

... You've made up 11 different stories to the question "Do you work here?"

... You know exactly how many rides there are in the entire DLR (correct answer: 1)

... You go nuts over being able to see a new snake in Indy (I got a bunch from my roommates over that one)

                            ... You've paid 50 cents to rub a lamp

... You've wondered why you paid more for your 2-park Premium AP than a FL-resident does for his 4-park no-blackout AP

I was thinking the same thing earlier. There may even be enough people to do an Aussie meet. I think we will have one very happy Lashbear on our hands. :monkey:
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

...Your family calls you to ask you about park hours, closed attractions, and directions to DL.

...You refer to DL as "The Park" and everyone who knows you knows which park you are talking about.

...Your kids notice things out of place while on an attraction.

...You keep a stack of parking stubs in your car to keep track of how many times you have been to the park in a given year.

I always feel weird reading these threads...basically, they tell me that I should probably bite the bullet and pay for an AP since I already behave like I have one.
