A Google search will yield a few such photos. I don't have any myself...anyone else?

      You mean while riding?

Hard to hold a camera while on board speeding through; although, amazingly, I experienced several riders conducting lively cell-phone conversations the whole ride through.

      Multi-tasking.

I've taken a friend on a couple ride of Space Mountain via cell phone. They loved it. Took them on Tower as well, and through the graveyard of the Haunted Mansion.

I don't know how you'd keep it from being jolted out of your hands and falling to the darkness below, but I'm a coaster wimp so both hands are firmly applied to the restraints with such grip that my wrists hurt afterwards.

The gal that I was sitting behind was having a very detailed conversation, with, what sounded like her boyfriend. A very engrossing, and serious conversation, from take-off to landing....without skipping a beat.

I've seen riders on Screamin conduct extensive cell-phone conversations throughout that ride.

                        Re: Pics of Space Mountain

I've been waiting for an opportunity to share some photos of the time I got stuck on Space Mountain. It happened on February 18th. (And I've been keeping this from you all this time???? I know, I know) I'll tell the story along with the pics, okay? Okay, here we go...

                        SS77,thisismissioncontrol.weareinitiatingpowertran sferin3,2,1,yadayadayada...

So, all is well, first lift, blue tunnel, up the second. We just barely get to the main building and we stop. Music's still playing. We're reclined about 45 degrees.

And I had my camera with me.

Note the stickers on the mechanical arm that spins the meteor. Once the lights turned on, you could see the meteor (heavier on one side apparently) swinging back and forth for like five minutes after it was shut off, lol

I turned around and got a shot of the teens in the rows behind me. Sure, what the heck, right?

Finally the music turned off, and the lights went on. I cheered.

I love this shot. You can see the walkway along the track and the left turn past the meteor. Check out how the wall making up the second lift tunnel is chipped where it meets the floor. And look, the meteor mechanism is on wheels!

After about ten minutes, a cast member helped us out of our rockets. It took a while to unlock the restraints, and the drop down to the floor was a good three feet or so, made more difficult by the fact that it was still on the incline!

This is the awesome-est shot I got. We couldn't see 99% of the main structures, but it's all good. I took this shot quickly because they were herding us back down the second lift.

Looking back up at our stopped rocket with flash on...

...and flash off. While I was in there, my brother and I were taking turns touching the screens, the walls, and even the track! We are such bad guests :ap:

The train behind us, stopped just before the second lift. They were being really loud the whole time they were stopped!

Here's us walking past the blue tunnel. Such a simple effect in the ride. I think it looks almost as cool this way!

After we descended the stairs in the first lift, we were escorted through a hidden door and up some more stairs, only to pop up back in the loading station.

Just in case you wanted to know what a re-admittance pass looks like, here it is! I held it up to the spacey walls in the exit.

I have some quick movies I took of my little breakdown experience too; if I can figure out how to upload them to the Internet I'll post 'em.

It's a shame I didn't get to ride my way out, but this was the second-best thing.

And just for good measure, here's a pic of the meteor I took on-ride on a different occasion. Pretty cool, huh? I use it as my desktop background.

There's actual meteors in Space DL? Wild. At WDW it's a black room with projections of stars and things on the ceiling, which means you have to look up to see them. Good luck with that!

LOL, i remember the LA Times running a pic a while back of some guy with his cell phone on Screamin'. how he heard anything w/ all the track rumble and onboard sound system is just beyond comprehension. )
