  • Tips for the first time DLer...

Both my girlfriend and one of my friends have never been to Disneyland , so we decided to take them next summer  . I'd like to give them a list of humorous tips to help them survive with a hardcore Disneyphobe like myself. Any suggestions?

Wear sturdy shoes such as hiking boots. The odds of having the back of your ankles torn up by a stroller are 3,720 to 1 (which is also the odds of successfully navigating an asteroid field).

I would say don't try to see all of it in one day. Maybe skip some things to try to spend more time doing something else, but less rushed. Take 2 or 3 days to see it all, if you can.

We were there for 2 days. We felt like we could have seen more, but it would have been too much rushing about.

I'm gonna sit back and wait for T-Gel to handle this one.

Eat lots of churros- you are young and can handle the sugar rush. then you will feel as though you are on Space Mountain (or other favorite ride)all the time and life will be sweet!

Bring an expensive digital camera and then make sure they carelessly leave it on a park bench so that I may add to my collection of cameras found at the park (j/k).

My generic tip for ALL first timers is to take the "Red Carpet Experience Tour."

Disney offers it for just $25 and it makes doing "everything" less overwhelming.

As for tips to "help them survive with a hardcore Disneyphobe" I can only suggest alcohol, lots of alcohol.

I've never really been around a Disneyphobe while not being a disneyphobe myself... are we really that bad?

Well, hopefully they will change your fear into love, with just a few adjustments in letters.
