I am not a So Cal resident but would I be able to get the special tickets at a disney store anyway? Or do they really check I.D. at the store or at DL entrance? anyone have any ideas?

They check ID at DL ticket booth but if you have any friends down here that could buy them for you...that would work. Not sure about Disney Stores though.
