  • DLR's Most Romantic Place to Propose

I'm going to ask my girlfriend to marry me in 20 days at Disneyland... I really wanted to eat at Club 33, but no one seems to be able to let me in... what do you think are the best (most romantic) places to get engaged at the resort? P.S. if anyone wants to let us in to Club 33, you would make a boy's dream... (plus, she wouldn't have any idea!!!)

I proposed on the compass, New Years eve, in front of the Castle, and had a cast member take our picture

I proposed to my wife at Snow White's Grotto and we took a ride on the Lillie Belle back in 1996. You should call City Hall and see if you can get a ticket for the Lillie Belle and do it there.

You could propose in the attic of the HM but make sure she wears purple so she will go with everything!

I would assume anywhere near the Castle or perhaps NOS- very romantic.

Anywho, good luck to the two of you!

I think the best place is a location that is special to the two of you.

Pick somewhere picturesque, but private. Somewhere you think will still be around in 10 years.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

This was my answer in another thread. This location is still around and almost exactly as it was 12 yeasr ago - when the man popped the question.

le hubby proposed to me in The Court of Angel's in New Orleans Square. Just at dusk. Very private. Very intimate. Very romantic. Beautiful.

Thanks, Max - I needed that today.

Assuming they won't let you do it near the New Orleans Main Kitchen dumpster, with that special hint of grapefruit rinds and old tin cans filling the air...

Seriously, I was going to suggest the Blue Bayoiu but they won't be open yet...

I would also go with the Snow White wishing well area...one of my favorite areas of the park...Time it where you are holding hands, maybe around sunset, when the song comes on..."I'm wishing..for the one I love...(and then maybe you could recite some lyrics from that song, and some other poetry, and pop the question?)

                            That's my best thought...for now...

Those are both good ideas... the problem (aside from BB being closed) is that I really don't want something that a billion other people have done... I want it to be really special, hopefully inexpensive (cuz it doesn't have to cost money to be special), intimate, and at a place that means something to both of us (any bit of Disneyland would work, but NOS is probably where it should take place, the problem with that is that they just put up construction fences and covered everything!)

I'm still really interested in Club 33 and the Lilly Belle, but I don't know how I'm going to get into either one of those places. Keep suggesting though, because there's gotta be something out there that is just perfect that isn't like getting into the Pentagon.
