There is such a parallel between Walt and Matt. I almost think that they should let Matt run all of Disney.

While Matt has been a fantastic addition to the Disneyland team, I would shy away from any comparisons to Walt. No matter how minor.

Wow, I just finished reading that article before I got on Micechat.
I am just basking in Walt's legacy before I "go home" in May.
I pretty much know most of it, but it was a great article.
I feel comfortable in saying Matt looks like he is taking those original ideals and ideas of Walt's and using them for a guide. It is wonderful to see.

Sorry if I'm harshing your buzz. I just feel that while Matt is a great guy and doing wonderful things for DL. Maybe comparing him to Walt is taking the lovefest a little too far.

I was merely saying that the two men's ideals were very similar. It's that "can do anything" attitude and their love for the public that Matt And Walt share. Walt was a revolutionary and it seems that matt has that same spark in him, and given the time and opportunity to, I think he could build Disney back into the empire it once was.

Well, let's let him work on Disneyland for a couple of years and see what happens then. No need to put the cart before the horse.
