Well, I wasnt sure what to expect, but those prices are pretty high. I will try to get together enough pennies in the next 2 weeks. Anybody have their sights set on a certain package?

WOW, would LOVE to experience that, but $6000.00 for 3 people. Doing the Disney Cruise already....can't save that many pennies!

            <<<< Blushing

I'm so sorry about that MickeyMan and everyone else that I wiped away in my big Oopsie

In any case, these events look VERY expensive.

The packages all look cool gut out of my range.

This is just a Merchandise Event. I still hope they with have the big rumored 50 hour party for guests.

If they were going to do that, shouldnt they have announced that with this?

This announcement was a disappointment (to say the least). I won't be doing any of these "Special Events". They don't seem very "Special" to me.

What a lost opportunity to make people happy at the "Happiest Place on Earth".

I'll be doing the Lillian Package. I already have a room at the Hyatt.

The price is about what I expected, especially since it includes tickets for 2 days. I knew the cost would be high.

I was rather shocked at the offerings. The Tower of Terror event and the HMH event both have dinners inside of the attractions. Although we will no doubt be attending, it does not seem like anything that would make the event live in our memories forever. I was hoping for a lunch inside of Walt Disney's Apartment (they offered this in a cast member auction recently), or maybe an exclusive walk-through of an original attraction or something a little more special. Oh well, I guess we will have to decide if $2,000 is worth a breakfast on the Mark Twain.

I hope so too! The quotes for the Merchandise Event is a little too expensive for my blood. I am already going to be there that weekend (July 15-18, 2005) so I don't need accommodations or park tickets. Maybe a special ticket for entry on the 17th? I would love to party in the park after dark if that is going to be possible!

When do you think they might announce the rumored 50 hour party? May 5, 2005?

Call me jaded, but this sounds like so many played out seen it, done it, events. It also seems so redundant with so many "magical on magical" moments. I'd OD on the whole thing before lunch. Good thing it's beyond my means! You can Ski for a week in the best lodges in the country for that $$$. IMHO...a better snowjob.

Wow, for that price, those park tickets better be gold plated and every meal served to you by oompa loompas! I am not surprised by that though. I will gladly pass on this one! But thanks for the info Dusty!
