UPDATE: We will meet at the outdoor patio of the Fountain View Cafe (It is covered in the event of rain) at 1pm on Monday the 23rd of May.

Several of us will be at WDW on the 23rd of May. If you are also going to be in the Orlando area, we'd love to meet you!


The general idea is to meet at 1pm in EPCOT, then go to Lunch around 1:45.

Does anyone have a good location that we should meet in the park?

I suggest you meet at the outside area of the Fountain View Expresso and Bakery. It's a central location in the park. Great place for a meet. And they have smoothies. Ha!

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to make the meet. I'm going the week afterwards. Heh heh.

Not sure if i will be at WDW by then... I am graduating that week and have to wait for family and friends to get here to Tampa for the little over 1 hour drive through hell to get there..

Hell = I-4 through more construction than you ever thought possible at night with accidents. Been there, done that, but going back only because of what's at the other end of Hell. (Disney)

There is a 75% chance I can make this meet at EPCOT! As of now, i do not know my working schedule which takes me away from home for days at a time, but I will sure try to attend and say Hola!

That darned Interstate has been underconstruction from one end to the other since i was born.... And it is projected 7 more yeatrs untill it is 6/8 lanes from I-275 all the way to I-95...... So all of us will enjoy Hell.. cause it is hitting WDW now....

(thought think of how nice the ramps will be finally.... Easier to get on and harder to get back home.. just the way Disney wants them..)

We're going back this year since it's the last year our daughter is a child (<11).

Fantastic! Glad to see that so many of you will be able to make it on a Monday.

I'm flying in that morning on a red eye. Staying at the Boardwalk. I hope to have just enough time to go to the hotel, shower, and change before the meet. So if I look tired, you'll know why.

We have one suggestion of meeting on the outside patio of the Fountain View Cafe, any other suggestions? Anyone up for lunch after the meet?

Welcome to MiceChat, but your daughter is already an adult by WDW standards - age 9 is the cutoff!


As for the meet - I hope y'all have fun! I'll be at home in Texas on the 23rd.

BUT, I am organizing a meet at the hub at 10 am on May 5th. Said meet will lat for a while, as we plan to stake out a spot for the 1 pm birthday launch.
