I miss EO as well. Just to let every one know this isn't some cheesy cam version. This looks like some how the guy got a hold of a copy of the movie.

yeah its a very clean version I just remember loving this show when I was little. A few years ago I had found a good version looks as clean as this one on kazza.... the show is so corny now but it still is fun.
The earth is round.... or so i've found.

Fantastic! Thanks for the link! I really miss Captain EO and was able to find a bootleg DVD, but that's all that seems to be left of it now.
              Woof!

I've never seen HISTA, don't plan on it either. I liked Captain EO when I was little. I loved Michael Jackson, now I think he's just weird. Thanks for the link. Here's to hoping they'll put Mickey's Phillharmagic in the theater. Although I don't know how it would fit in with Tomorrowland, but that seems to be a theme for that land nowadays.

I thought about this too. I bet they could find a way to fit it into there without much work.

How about this scenerio: The waiting area is a transport that sends you into the future aboard Mickey's Outerspace Cruise Ship in the year 2025. Being similar to the cruise ships of "our" oceans, this ship has top notch entertainment. So we enter the theater where Donald is getting the music ready.

Play the current show and then transport us back to earth.

BTW, Captain EO was shown on TV in 2D (that is probably where this copy came from.) I think it was shown on the Disney Channel.

With the same logic they used to put America Sings there?

Seriously, I agree: of the four 3-D attractions, Philharmagic is my favorite by far (and as a rabid Muppets fan, that's saying something). I guess it's because they did such an awesome job with the effects. Do wish there had been a few more classic tunes, but why carp? It's an awesome show.

The Same person/people that leaked the pan and scan version also put out a letterbox version, but it also included the film leader (countdown)

OH MY GOSH!! You like totally just made my day!! I LOVED Captain EO when I was a kid. I was mildly (ok...maybe compleatly) obsessed with this. I had the soundtrack AND I still have my stuffed Fuzzball (the little fuzzy flying red guy). Hehehe....Love IT!! When it came out they did a making of special and we had taped it. It was on the tape after the movie Annie (which I also loved) but I would fastforward through all of Annie to watch the making of special again and again. LOL And they had the old pepsi commercial with all the people on the beach wanting a Pepsi and running accross the sand going oooh it hot! And the We Where Short Shorts Nair Commercial. LOL Sorry. Just brought back a HUGE flood of memeories from my childhood. Thansk for sharing!! I HAVE to send this to the rest of my family
