Does anyone know if southern california residents get a discount off the Premimium annual pass (the one with no blackout days)?

Some employers can get you a discount on the Deluxe or Premium (first time purchase). If I remember correctly, it is about a $12 discount.Check out my Theme Park Photos at http://darkbeer.smugmug.com

I've got a related question. I understand that you can upgrade your annual passes. Is there a limit to that? I mean, it almost sounds like a lay-away plan if you can start with a regular day ticket, upgrade that to a So Cal select, then later move that to a standard So Cal, to deluxe, etc., whenever you get the money together? Does it work like that?

How much is it to get into the park on a blacked out day? $30?When you wish upon a star, your dreams come true, but because of distance, not for millions of years.

You keep the same experation date, and you have to pay the difference between what you have already paid, and the current price...
So you could buy a SoCal Select AP today (4/8/05) for $99...
Then upgrade to a regular SoCal in May for an extra $50, but your AP still would expire on April 8th, 2006.
In July, get a Deluxe AP for another $60 so you can visit during the summer...
Then in August, spend another $49 and get a Parking Pass, still only good thru Apriul 8th, 2006.
In December, you could uprade to a Premium, but lets say the prices went up another $50.. so you would have to pay an extra $121 instead of $71.... and you still have an expiration date of April 8th, 2006.
And yes, currently a blockout pass is $30 per day, and must be purchased on day of use.Check out my Theme Park Photos at http://darkbeer.smugmug.com

Quick tip for people too poor to afford an annual pass. But it's less than legal. You can go to the park around closing, and ask people for their ticket stubs. If you get lucky and get a two day park hopper pass, then you can get like $89 off the price of an AP.Member of the Disney Class of 2005
