Gold Lamp Post on Main St. tie to the 50th?

I posted on a diffrent board a few months back about this and didn't really get anything so lets try a this again on a new board. Has anyone seen the gold lamp post on Main St. near the lockers? I have not been to the park in a while so I don't know if it is still there, but would love some info if anyone has any. Or even a pic of it.....Darkbeer???????

Haha were you the one who posted about this on MP? I remember being intrigued about it and disappointed that nobody had anything more concrete. So, you know, I don't have anything more concrete either, but I'm also curious.

I believe this is still there, the lamp post will not be taken down for any reason at all

THanks Mr. Liver it is good to know it is atleast still there. I am sure we will hear more about it as more plans for the 50th come out.

Perhaps you also mentioned it over at LP. And when I was at DL for New Years I did notice it. I really wouldn't mind if they painted all the lamposts on Main Street gold for the 50th. It would be a nice accent for all of Main Street and I don't think it would be too overwhelming since they are spaced out a little ways from each other.

I was originally concerned that all the golden stuff would come out looking quite gaudy, but the lampost looks quite tasteful, and that rather eases my fears.

The golden lampost looks very respectful and restrained. I hope it's a color test and will be expanded to include every lampost on Mainstreet.

I work on Main Street and didn't notice it until I read it here either.
