  • Birthday Girl Lunch

Hi everyone. I have a question. What's a good place in California Adventure or Disneyland that has a good lunch for a bithday girl that's turning 5. Oh, and she would really like to have some princesses there.

    I was thinking Ariel's Grotto??

BTW: are the princesses there everyday or just on certain days. The party is on the 30th of May.

    In General:

    Sit-Down Restaurant for Lunch
    Good Food
    Princesses around
    A Good Kid-Friendly Place
    Not to Pricey

Even though all of DLR's resaraunts or kid-friendly, in ur opinion what would you choose?

They also do a "Happiest Birthdays On Earth" buffet thing at Plaza Inn, with "Pat E. Cake" as the host.

You may not want to hear my opinion of the show from what I have seen of it as an adult passing by... >_< (It all depends on the acting abilities - or lack thereof - of the cast.) But the kids seem to get a blast out of it, and that's what counts.

Edit: Somehow I hit a Control Code instead of a Shift, and sent it half-finished. It's all better now, but the Ascii smilie should have been a grimace.

Ariel's Grotto is the only Princess character restaurant in the Parks. Bit on the pricey side, but then what isn't? Wolfette loves this place!

You can also try Goofy's Kitchen at DLH, but you just don't know what characters will show up on any given day, usually a Princess or two at least with many other characters.
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

Don't forget to tell them it's a Birthday, and you might want to buy her the Princess Birthday bucket....you can get one that day if you want.

$20.00 when Wolfette turned 9 last year. Cute bucket (like the popcorn ones, except with Princesses on it), a Birthday pin, and other little goodies. You can check out what's included before buying of course. Wolfette was a little old for it, but I think it would be great for a little princess turning 5.
