    Re: OK... admit it!

It may be difficult to get epople to admit it, because they are probably the last person to realize their behavior can be viewed as being a "butthead".

My "butthead" behavior usually just affects my family and not guests or CM's. Usually it surfaces when my teen keeps asking for more money for her and her friend. One time I gave her $60.00 for the day for her and a friend who came with no money. I told them this was for their food and drinks throughput the day. They spent it all on souviners and then called me asking to meet me by POTC. I get there and they tell em they are hungry and needmoney for food. Yeah, I was NOT happy. I basically said to bad, you're not getting anymore, when I'm ready for lunch you can meet up with us them and we will eat together.

This happens alot.....her newest friend has an AP now, because my mother basically bought it for him and he rarely comes with money. It is a pet peeve of mine. I ahve one child and everytime she brings a friend it's like I have two children. When I was young going places with my friends my parents always gave me money and if I ran out I would never dream of asking their parents for more or having my friend ask.....

another time we were there for an hour and my then 11 year old decided to act like a whiney brat and we I immedialty took her back home. She was not happy that day either....

Grad Night '7.... well, it was a while back. Natalie Cole was performing at the French Market (if that's what it was called at the time). Oh gosh, I am soooo ashamed of this now. I was there with my date and another couple, and we all had a pretty good sense of humor. Anyway, I have no idea what was making us laugh (it certainly was not the performance, which I do remember we all thought was great), but we were doubled over. We weren't being purposefully rude, but it was. Natalie finished her set and stormed off the stage. To this very day I want to crawl into the ground everytime I think of it.

I love Natalie Cole, have her CDs, and if there was any way to apologize to her face-to-face after all of these years I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Hmm, this didn't work... I don't feel unburdened!
GRAD NIGHT SEVEN??? Are you sure it was Natalie Cole and not the Byzantine Monk Quartet?

Ok, here goes. While on the monorail, during the spiel where it says to keep arms and hands inside, I stuck my head out the window. I know, the spiel doesn't mention heads, but I was showing off!

Lets see.... poor behavior on the PeopleMover and Skyway as a teenager. Enjoying some herbal refreshment as a teenager (Paul, you're right, Fantasmic DOES rock!) on several occasions.

As an adult, the only thing I can think of is reciting the spiels in HM. Oh, and that time I blinded Deogge's Mom and Wolfy999 in POTC with flash photography. But they said it was okay!!!!

                Re: OK... admit it!

This was back for the VERY SHORT Time that they had "live knights" in the Haunted Mansion....

But background is needed as to why I acted like I did..so here goes... I had had a horrific experience when I was about 4 -5 of a "fake" monster coming to life and literally picking me up in a Haunted Ship Dark Maze at our local county Faire (My Dad about came unglued when it happened - scared me enough that I literally ripped through a canvas wall on the maze - clawed my finger tips down to the point that they thought I would never have fingerprints on them...)

Anyways..so ever since then I don't handle "booga booga's" well. (Even when I worked as the Headless Horseman at Knott's I had to have someone escort me from the stagecoach to the break area..I just freaked even walking around by myself there- thank God for good friends who worked it)...

So, (back again to story) I was in Haunted Mansion, just throughly enjoying it (as always) when I noticed these Knights placed along side the Doom Buggies...(Sorta Cool - love Knights).. When, suddenly, one of them moved, and put his hand on my shoulder...next thing I knew..the Doom Buggy was continuing to move, the knight was out cold in the middle of the floor, and my right fist hurt and my knuckles were bleeding. Yup, cold-cocked him...just pure gut reaction. Later when they took the knights out (we heard that more than one of them got hit)...I really felt bad and REALLY REALLY felt bad that I reacted that way.

(Just a year or so ago, I finally got a chance to appologize to the guy through DoomBuggies.com...he was really sweet about it and said that it was actually his fault cause they were told not to touch anyone.) But, I still feel bad about it to this day.

*Oh, Mickey, forgive me for I have sinned, I have utilized violence and cold-cocked a Knight in Haunted Mansion.*

That thing about kids friends not bringing money for the day wow that drives me nuts, I would never send my kids somewhere without money to pay for food and a souvineer what are people thinking? My dd was sending my 22 month old grandson with a mommie from her mommie group since she was babysitting for my dd, my first question was did you give her money for food and a balloon...her reply of course I gave her money for him!
Worst bad at the park was not me but my Husband. The man does not do fast rides, so we talked him into SM telling him its smooth , you cant see the track etc... well his language was very very bad from being scared to death I had to beat him on the back and head to get him to close his mouth! And when he got off the ride he was green! I have never let him go on SM again!

                        Re: OK... admit it!

So back when the skyway was still open I went on it with my cousin (I was probably 16 and she 14) and she was pouring water on the people below. While we were on the ride I was freaking out and screaming at her "Stop!! How would you like it? You're going to get us kicked out of the park!" Wouldn't you know it, we get back to the station and the CM unloads us and takes us to the side and tells us that we are going to be kicked out of the park for pouring water on people.

I don't know what happened but suddenly I went into family protection mode (or maybe I just really didn't want to leave) and I started telling him that he was wrong, it must have been people in a vehicle near us because neither of us would EVER do anything like that and that I think it is horrible that anyone would do that. Well, I guess I missed my calling as a defense lawyer because he let us go.

More recently we went on TOT for the first time and I really don't care for drop rides very much. The ride really scared the crap out of me and on the third drop I realized that I was screaming obscenities. Luckily there were no children in our immediate area. As we were unloading the guy in front of us turned around and said "You were fantastic!" I guess I gave him some entertainment.

The greatest thing is when your teenager finally gets a job.:yea: My 18 year old started working at a grocery store two years ago and his nickle and diming me to death stopped. Plus now that he actually has to earn his money, he thinks twice before buying that churro, which was not nearly as expensive to him when I bought it. It makes me laugh at what a cheapskate he has turned into. I do still buy his meals at the park, but all the extra stuff he can take care of.

Once I encouraged my friend to ride through PoC with slumped over in his seat with a spot of ketchup running down his forehead. Needless to say, as we turned the corner back to the queue, it wasn't very encouraging to the kids who were ALREADY scared of getting on the ride. We got more than a few worried stares.

Hm. Another time we sat in the back of the jungle cruise and heckled the skipper. But who doesn't do that, right?

Actually, the skipper totally played along with it and the whole boat ended up joining in. it ended up being the best jungle cruise I've ever been on.

to the skipper: "How much do YOU weigh and how high can YOU jump?"

More than one person has inquired about my own heinous behavior at Disneyland. Honestly, without being gratuitous, I believe I have always been well-behaved when at the park. (I had a very good mother.) I did get yelled at by a parking structure CM a couple of months ago. I was in a hurry to get to the park and seriously violated the 14 MPH limit. Oh, and I also dumped nuclear waste in Space Mountain.

(OK... one of those was a lie.)
"Yesterday, a man walked up to me and said, 'Isn't it a shame that Walt Disney couldn't be here to see this?' and I said, "He did see this, that's why it's here."

I've only been twice, but on our Honeymoon... I kept grabbing my Hubbies butt. *shame*

Nothing graphic, but still. I recited what I could from the HM stretching room, but I totally didn't know it was wrong. *another shame*

I stole $50 from a table... NO just kidding!! I wanted to have something "juicy" in my post. :0)

OH. and we snuck beef jerky in before, too.

To live would be an awfully big adventure.
