  • The second pardoned turkey...

    Is missing from his/her pen.

Also, we noticed that the signage has been removed.

Maybe we missed the thread, but is he/she in turkey heaven like the first one? I know that their life expectancy isn't too long (for one reason or another).

What were their names? Yam and ???

    Just wondering...

I noticed that too. That would be awkward if it had died. :-P

It's not about the turkeys. It's about The Shed. Turkeys come and go, but The Shed is eternal. As long as The Shed exists, the turkeys will be pardoned.

The first turkey died?? When was that?

And just for the record, Turkey Heaven is in my stomach.

We noticed that they removed the signage after the first turkey died. We enjoyed watching the turkeys--one time Goofy walked by on his way off-stage and made a weird noise at the turkeys that set the them off gobbling like crazy. We tried to replicate the noise after that, but it never worked for us.

Yeah, we were fortunate enough to see them in the parade at the Park.

It's been a while since the first one died. Maybe Feb or March??

I thought I noticed a VERY fresh looking set of legs in the Turkey Leg cart... (that's bad, I know. sorry )

            Thanks for the info.

I was there Saturday 6/17 and the Turkey was there, along with a new friend, Peacock.

                  That's great news!

                  Thanks.

(I saw a recent photo posting of the peacock, but didn't see it there either)

Maybe it's too hot to leave them outside. They might take them in the back or something. Although, I like roasted turkey.

The Peacock made an escape Tuesday night around closing time. It was running loose on Big Thunder Trail for a while.

                        lol!

Reminds me of my old high school. We used to have live peacocks run around campus. One day, they left. So for the continuing years students petitioned to bring them back. hehe

Maybe they ran out of those delicious turkey legs at the ODV cart?

The other turkey's name is Marshmellow. I'm not sure what happened, though...

I could have sworn I saw Ted Nugent walking around in his hunting gear the other day. I wonder if he's involved
