A new idea

I built this ride in my RCT2 Fantasyland then took it out. But I just wanted to know if anyone likes the concept.

Then if people do maybe we can hope it goes in real Disneyland!

The ride is sort of like the Peoplemover, only it's a suspended monorail type thing. It goes through various tunnels in buildings in Fantasyland.

Characters are onboard. As you travel thru the tunnels, clips from famous character films play--and the onboard characters interact with you.

I called it Character Chariots.

Fairly stupid but I thought it MIGHT be a cool idea...then we'd not need nearly as many stupid meet n greets

Just wait a little longer, everyone is not online when you are or reads every post right away.

The idea is ok the technology for the charater interaction is getting there with the Stich and Crush Interactions it might be possible. But there does not seem to be room to tunnel through Fantasy Land Attractions.

I do not believe any idea is stupid. I am glad you did share your idea. I believe Disneyland needs to bring back a peoplemover type ride.

When you say the ride will travel through tunnels are you refering to attractions that alreay exisit such as Peter Pan, Snow White, Mr. Toad etc.?

Hey MotorBoatCruise2005, I actually think the idea has merit and maybe if we could use the existing PeopleMover Track it might put a redundant structure into good use. Would be quite cool if it was done in terms of a timeline starting with Snow White and perhaps progressing thro' later films (tho obviously may not be able to fit in all 60 or whatever number Disney are currently on!). I think the interaction experience would be valid as shown by Stitch - as some would say the only redeeming feature of Innoventions - and I personally enjoyed the touch at the end of the now extinct ET ride over at Universal, where ET would bid farewell personally to you!

Don't be disheartened as Dusty says - it's just the way of the boards unfort!
