  • Need Help Designing Disneyland Inspired Games/Activities for a home during Halloween!

There's about 3 [and a half] months away until October 31st and not everyone here has the chance to visit Disneyland during the Spooky month. So I hope to bring some Disneyland inspired magic to my sister's neighborhood during Halloween.

At first I was to create carnival themed games and fun activities in front of my sister's house for Halloween but now I want to go in the Disneyland side of things and give people some Disney Magic in TX.

This is where your creative ideas and helpful words come in MiceChatters! Have you done and/or built anything that was Disneyland inspired for your house, interior or exterior during the month of October?

Got pictures of your spooky Disneyland decor to share?

I already have many many Haunted Mansion tracks to play on a sounds system... But that's all I have so far.

Help me and the kids in my sister's neighborhood have a Not-So scary Halloween front yard experience! Thanks!

Well once on Halloween these guys were having a tour of their house and there were thousands of Disney collectibles and I adored it!

That's it, no one here is in the Halloween spirit during the month of July? I'm shocked no one has anything ideas to help me and the kids on my street out! ;o) Help me if you can.

Have the evil queen from Snow White pass out apples.
But. the kids this year are really into all things pirate so you could shoot for the Captain Hook theme. Serve the candy out of a treasure chest. Have a large cauldron (of dried ice) cooking head hunter stew. Maybe a game of "Toss the bones into the alligators mouth". As a kid I always liked the painted boards you could walk up to and put your face in the cut out and become that character (maybe some scarey pirates?) Take photos with a polaroid or your digital of course.

Last year I made a 3/4 scale pirate ship out of plywood. I set up a dock area in front of it with some wooden skids, then I dressed as Captain Hook to hand out candy. This year I'm using plywood to make a skull rock for my yard, and I'm trying to come up with a way to make Kraken tentacles.

I usually make the kids answer a pirate question to get their candy.
          Ex: pirates favorite restaurant- Arrrrrrby's
pirates favorite R&B singer- Arrrrrretha Franklin

Corny I know, but the kids loved it.

I'll post pictures if anyone is interested.
