    Happy Birthday Disneyland!

It was a nice small ceremony this morning as Matt Ouimet presented a donation gift of One million dollars to the Childrens Hospital of Orange County(CHOC) Really a great cause, the testimonies of the parents were so heart warming.

Stage was set before the show.

I would think that if Tony Stewart were able to donate 1 million to a similar cause, Disneyland could have done more than that. Nice, generous, kind...but small.

Great job with the pics! I volunteer at CHOC most weekends, and this gift is not only needed, but to a worthy charity.

I'm glad you could be there to take photos so that the rest of us could see the ceremony!

Used mostly the same footage and also a different song for this short video of the parks beginning to now.

Some of the children from the Hospital organization

                  POOF!!

                  cONFETTI EVERYWHERE!

It really amazed me how fast they took all of this down, really a great team. Matt made sure he thanked the cast members in the end and really tried too. He did a great job presenting everything. He seemed a little nervous with the teleprompter or screen he had reading back the speech. It was a nice sweet short cermony. I took more pics of the park and had a great time! Hanging out at the hearthstone before going back. That's all for now.

I'm going to start putting exclamation marks after the amount whenever I write a check from now on.
So full of Disney Magic, my eyes are blue.

I wonder how long it will take, or did take, to clean up the confetti.

They used the same vacaum systems from the Snow White show to clean it up. About an hour to clean up the stage and all.
                              And exclamations are optional.
