  • Adventureland Closed?

Believe it or not Adventureland was closed tonight, 7/19, Jugle Cruise went down around 6:00 and Indy followed shortly after. Both were still down when Tarzan's Treehouse was closed for Fantasmic and so when Tiki went down for fireworks there were effectively no attractions in operation in Adventureland.

You may know that the Jungle Cruise boats are on tracks, but unfortunatly one of them decided to jump off of the track. And since the water level was two inches low they couldnot follow the normal procedure for re-railing the boat. There were also concerns about possible damage to the track.

I know that Jungle and Tiki were back up around 10:00, but I am unsure about Indy.

5/19? As in May 19th? This is old news. Maybe it was a private party - you can rent out Adventureland specifically if you pay the high price.

There's 56 possible attractions in Disneyland. I think they could manage.

Yeah, I know. I was being nice. No need to get all "smart" with me about it.

They launch fireworks from directly behind the Tiki room. Durning the Haunted Mansion Section of the show as well as others. Correct?

Silly me I meant 7/19, not 5/19. And the fireworks are launched from the top of the old plaza pavilion. And since Tiki is part of the same building it has been deemed a "fallout zone"

Huh, you learn something everyday. I was trying to figure out where exactly some of the those roundhouse effect fireworks came from.

I heard there have been some strange goings-on in the Enchanted Tiki Room. An unnamed source revealed that the birds have been mysteriously switching perches inside the attraction after-hours. This of course could be explained by the mere fact that they have not been changing places and it is just the imaginations of the cast members, however, there is yet another instance of intrigue you will find very peculiar...
Less than a week ago, prior to the opening of the park, a cast member entered the Tiki Room to do a final sweep before the arrival of guests and found bird poop all over the place!!
Ah, how strange! The molecules are so active now!
