    SHAG "Cocktail Hideaway" Reception Friday, June 24th

    Just received this cool postcard in the mail regarding a special 50th anniversary SHAG art event.

    From the postcard:
    Please join us Friday, Juen 24, 2005 as we groove with Artist, SHAG in our "Cocktail Hideaway" to celebrate the release of his five "Original Lands" art pieces. Created in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of Disneyland Park.

                Sounds like lots of fun!
                Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
                I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

                        And this is one event that I REALLY want to go to. I love SHAG!

                          Wow, Shag's style works so totally well with Disneyland. This is wonderful artwork. I hope he produces many more Disneyland-related works in the coming years, because it fits him like a glove!

                                      Club 33 or hotel?

                                      Ok, if there really ARE cocktails at this reception, that would mean it would have to be either in Club 33 or a hotel, since those are the only places with a liquor license (or I guess a downtown disney restaurant). Its interesting the announcement doesnt specify.

                                      Perhaps they are serving Mocktails? I would love a club 33 reception!

                                        Actually, Disneyland has a liquor license for the entire Disneyland park, they use it for after hour events, or in roped off private areas.
