  • Elvis impersonator at Club Buzz

Tonight as we were headed over to Space Mountain, we happened to catch the Elvis impersonator show at Club Buzz titled "Club Buzz Stage Presents Scot Bruce - A tribute to Elvis". It was actually quite enjoyable, the guy knew how to work the crowd and boy did he have the look. It was kind of funny to see all these old ladies in the front of the stage swooning. If you get a chance, I really recommend checking it out. It's fun and since it's not a "Main Event", even on crowded days it's a place to get away from the masses. Not to mention a chance for a dance with your sweetie

Here are some pics I had to take with my phone as my new camera's battery ran out earlier in the night.

    Enjoy!

Scot Bruce, the best Elvis impersonator. I was there till 9:10pm watching him. I usually watch all his sets but couldn't stay late, darn work! I'm usually right in front of the stage with all the 'old ladies'.

He was there when we were in the park in June, I wish we had made the effort to see him. Thanks for the pictures!

Yeah, we've seen his show a few times. Great, lively (and even informative) show. He tells stories of Elvis as part of the show.

What we liked the most though, was the fact that he didn't put himself off 'AS' Elvis. He talked about Elvis in a third person text, rather than other "impersonators" actually thinking that they ARE the person that they are portraying.

We really enjoyed his show and look forward to seeing him again.

BTW--Too bad he wasn't performing back when we saw Lisa Marie and Nicolas Cage enjoying the Parks (obviously before their break-up). I would have liked to see her reaction to him on the stage.

I heard from guests (while i was working there) that he's rude to the techies. That turned me away from him.

Having spent all spring and summer workingat Innoventions, I've heard pretty much every act they've hired there. I've said all alog that the Elvis impersonator is the only act they get at Club Buzz that doesn't make me want to hunt for the nearest soundproof room. He is, as you say, quite good.
