  • Fantasmic or Remember?

    O.k....hypothetical question here.....

Due to budget cuts Disney has decided that they can't continue to run both Fantasmic and Remember fireworks so they are going to retire one of them. For the first time ever they are letting the public vote on which one they get to keep. One vote per person.

    What would you vote?

Well considering Remember... is scheduled to end with all the 50th festivities...I'd say that one. If it wasn't...then I don't know. I love them both. :shy: Or we could always move one into DCA? Fantasmic in the Paradise Pier area?

Save Fantasmic! It has too many good childhood memories attached to it.

I love the 50th fireworks show. In fact I'm hoping to visit the park in a couple weeks just so I can see them one more time before they end.
But overall....hypothetically if the fireworks were not 'temp'...I would have to vote to keep Fantasmic. It's just toooooo awesome.

Too hard to pick. I remeber the goosebumps I got from seeing both for the first time and it's hard to pick either one.

Get rid of remember. I love Fantasmic and even if I didn't I would prefer that the crowds of people that will save themselves a spot 3 hours before a show be back along the banks of the ROA than right in the middle of Main St.

Even though the crowds create a hugeeeee problem I would have to say Fantasmic. I love remember but Fantasmic is much more spectacluar

Much agreed!!! To every decision-making process, something most be sacrificed, and I guess Toontown would be it.

Keep fantasmic, the 50th show is just that, for the 50th, it may be amazing, but it's not as spectacular as fantasmic in a certain sense, where do you see live characters fighting on a pirate ship?

                            Re: Fantasmic or Remember?

I think I'd have to say Fantasmic. I still love Remember, but it no longer really triggers the kind of emotional response in me that it did during its first summer. If I get to actually sit and watch all of Fantasmic (rare now, but it still happens), I cry when Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey pops out of the top of the island. Can't help it. It still gets to me.

Very hard choice. But I guess Remember to be out, F! stays in.
