  • Golden Ride Vehicles

Searched and didn't find any posts on it so here goes...

Last night at Disneyland I saw the "photo op" golden tea cup next to the Mad Hatter store, with the saucer part revealed and the cup part covered up. From what I could see (in the light of the night) it looked pretty good to me. It was interesting how they worked it into the lawn and railing...I'm sure there'll be pictures up soon. Has anyone else spotted any other golden vehicles?

what I want to know is if there are going to be actual seperate lines to ride the golden vehicles? Mouseplanet reported this and it just sounds so silly to me. I know that the car outside of Mr. Toad's is going to get the golden treatment so that people can get there pictures painted with it. There is no way I would wait in a seperate line to ride one, I just hope I get to see them as they go by

The golden treatment is supposed to go on the rides that opened with the park in 1955, so HM will not be getting one. At least, I don't think it will.

Heck with the photo op cars.... my mission is to ride all gold cars in one day, even if I have to wait. I figure if there's not *that* many, then doing it on a non-crowded day is quite possible, as long as I don't really go on anything else. And in that case, I wouldn't mind.

So, that's one of my 50th "goals". (Hmmm... now there's an idea for a thread. I think I'll go start one..... )

Correct me if I'm wrong, please, but Dumbo wasn't there on opening day and actually came in later that year. So if what jepple said,

So would Dumbo be included? I read that a Fantasyland CM posted on here about a golden Dumbo with a golden feather to say who is riding on it. She wanted them ALL to be gold. I think this whole golden attraction vehicles should be fun! Imagine the joy of that gold ship flying around on Peter Pan as you walk up!

Yeah, I would think that anything that was from 1955 and is still there will get the golden treatment.
