Best place in DCA to eat

So where is the best place in DCA to eat?

As I only remember eating one meal at this park in the past and that chilli and cheese hot dog from Hollywood Weaners was how do I put it crap.

I really like eating at Ariel's Grotto, or whatever they're gonna call it now. Last time I went, there were seven characters at dinner - Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald, Max, and Stitch. There was almost no one in the restaurant, so we got to spend ages playing with them. Plus, IMHO you get a lot of food and interaction with characters for the price you pay!

For something quicker, Taste Pilots' Grill is my preference. I love their fries!

We ate at Pacific Wharf Cafe last time - it wasn't bad. I've heard good things about the Wine Country Trattoria, but I haven't managed to eat there yet.

I would also highly recommend going over the Grand Cal for whitewater snacks. Better, cheaper, nicer place to relax.

If you must eat inside the park though, I think Taste Pilots is the best of the bunch.

Hmm, the food offerings at DCA must have taken a steep downturn at some point if Taste Pilot's Grill is the best they can do (and it is).

Pizza Oom Mow Mow is really not that bad. If it is open it is a good place to grab a bite and try not to sit down wind from Burger Invasion!

I should really take some time to eat at DCA. I have only eaten at Award Wieners and it was mediocre at best.

I haven't eaten at Trattoria but I hear it's yummy. I actually like Award Wieners. I usually get the Caesar dog. Corn Dog Castle is quite tasty. I with the others, I'd go to Grand Cal and go to White Water. The only bad part about it is watching all the guests play in the cool pool with the slide...especially on a hot day!

i tried some great nachos over at fishermans wharf or whatever that place is called, can you tell I don't attend California Adventure as much. The corn dogs are good as well.
Trattoria, is that place expensive?

If you don't mind spending the money, I think the Golden Vine is the best place to have dinner. I am never dissapointed when I eat there. AND - you can watch the Electrical Parade from up there - double bonus!!!

Plus I ate there the night I got engaged.... :love:

Pizza Oom Mow Mow is really not that bad.

OMG! To each his own, but I think their pizza is the 2nd worst Disney theme park pizza in the world. (The absolute worst being at Colonel Haithi's in Disneyland Paris, in case you were wondering.)

The "Cove Bar" above Ariel's Grotto is the best place to eat in DCA. I recommend the Rip Tide Iced Tea, a Mai Tai, or just a straight shot of Jagermeister (they make the best ones) will do just fine.

Golden Vine Trattoria, in my opinon, is the best now that Avalon Cove is gone.
