DL Holiday Decorations

When do the Christmas decorations start to go up in DL? My wife said that it was around thanksgiving, and I said that I thought they start to put things up at the beginning of November. We are debating on going in mid October or early November, and the holiday decorations might be the deciding factor for going in November.

The holiday decorations are usually all up by the first weekend in November. The holiday parade and fireworks usually start the weekend before Thanksgiving. Not sure what they will be doing with the holiday parade and fireworks this year since they have the 50th going on. Rumor has it the holiday parade will move to DCA and possibility keep the 50th fireworks and just add snow at the end.

We'll always seen Holiday Believe on our trips that fall over Veteran's Day weekend in Nov. The only thing not going is the holiday parade. We love going this time of year.
