  • Halloween Time!

    Ahoy all,

I was at DLR yesterday(Tues). There is a very cool new sign up as you exit the Haunted Mansion.

I just can't wait for Halloween!!! Oh, and I did see snow and Christmas decorations on the facades/roofs of a few shops on Main Street as I left the park last night. Yuck. I'm not ready for Christmas yet! We need more Halloween!

    Re: Halloween Time!

I love Halloween and am glad they're doing more for Halloween this year.

From the other thread, the Christmas stuff was merely for a commercial shoot and will probably be gone in a bit. Though it would have caught me compeletely off guard had it been me at the park

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

                      Re: Halloween Time!

Last year they used tokyo's 2004 halloween parade music. i hope hope hope they use tokyo's 2005 music this year ;P Doubt it, but i hope ;P

I'd be looking forward to halloween at dland a lot more if they had a parade like *every other disney resort* . And I don't get why they had to scrap the fireworks show. Grad nite proved they can put together a great show just by slapping together castle effects, add some big launch effects and some music and we have a halloween show. Seems dumb they wouldn't be able to make one.

Halloween is one of my two mostest favorite holidays, and I think it's great DLR is getting into the groove! Does anyone know if they decorate the houses in Storybook Land for Halloween and Christmas?
