  • New $10 Disney Dollar Picture

in the new issue of the AAA "Westways" there is an ad saying if you buy a (new) AP you will get $10 in DD back. And with that they have a scan of what I hope is the new $10 DD bill:

Click here to check it out

Now I say 'hope' because the picture of the AP they put up does not match any AP card I have seen or heard about as of yet. Check out the full ad by clicking here (the details about the offer is located at the bottom of the ad).

I can't wait to see the rest of the new DD designs!

You just KNOW how many people are gonna buy that and put it in a case. That means they spent 50$ on a peace of paper that cost Disney pennies to make. Who ever had THAT idea needs a cut of that pie!!!

So, are they no longer giving you $20 off for renewals pluse a 20% Discount coupon? Or, is this offer just for new APs?

The offer above is for new APs only.

You still get the 20% off coupon and the $20 off (but only for premium and deluxe APs) when you renew.

I worked at Disneyland at the ticket booths the first year Disney Dollars were introduced. We were required to ask every guest if they wanted to purchase Disney Dollars, and since none of them knew what it was, we had to explain to each person. Most of them just stared at us like we were crazy.

FYI, this page on the Disney Gallery website has pictures of the new Disney Dollars to be released on May 5. Scroll to the bottom to see them.

I can't imagine how many people are going to buy the $50 one. I know I bought a $1 one when they first came out. I can't remember if I bought the $5 and $10. But $50? Nope, I'll pass, thanks.
