I am planning a trip to Disneyland next Sunday and I was wondering if anyone here knows if the Park still has or think they will have any copies of the big CD set with the golden vinyl record included. I want one so bad, but don't get paid until next Friday. I hoping they will have some left, somewhere in the Resort a week from today.

My family and I will be back at the park starting that day for 4 glorious days. We live in KS now, so its a real treat to get back to SO-CAL where I grew up. We have not been back since 2002, so I can hardly wait.

The 10-day weather forecast for that date is starting to go downhill....I hope they are wrong !

We got ours at Disneyana today. Off the Page in DCA had them too. The official release date is May 5, so I can't imagine they're going to sell out quite that fast. I'd also check the music store on Main Street. They're not selling them until the 5th.

I believe that they only made 5,000 sets with the Gold disk. I expect that they will sell out this week. However the non-limited edition will be available after that.

Yes, apperantly they've been quite popular. I wou;n't give up hope though, you never know about these things.

I was in the Disneyanna store today and they were on number 4780.

But they're not selling them in numerical order. We bought ours at the same time as a friend bought his, and both of them came out of the same box, but they weren't in sequential order.

They weren't SUPPOSED to sold until them. But with all this the stores folk are too busy/excited to be concerned with release dates. Its a great suprise to those coming early, but I fear a backlash if we don't have them in stock on the 5th.
Disneyana and 20th Century Music on mainstreet carry the set, and have on and off since 4/30 (they don't get shipments every day, and until the big shipments come for the 5th and such the numbers are small enough that they have been selling out after only a few hours).
I look forward to getting my own soon, hopefully tomorrow- rent can wait.
