Celebrity Sighting!

Ah ha! Had a celebrity sighting today at the Resort. Was on my way out of the GCH to DTD after lunching at Whitewater Snacks, when I stopped at one of the easy chairs in the hall by the ballrooms. As I rummaged through my backpack, I glanced up and did a double take...there was Tony Shalhoub,coming down the hall with his group and a castmember!
This totally beats my George Hamilton sighting years back...

The coolest celebrity I have ever seen at DL is Mickey Mouse!
Oh yeah and one time Kobe Bryant, his wife and their son were by the Matterhorn (but who cares about him, Go Suns!!!).

The detective with OCD, the show is on USA. The actor stole the best actor emmy from Steve Carrell this year.

The Monk is one of the funniest shows on tv right now I love it. I just bought season 1 on dvd yesterday. Go check it out on http://www.usanetwork.com/series/monk/

OK, this may sound stupid, but who's Tony Shalhoub?

Besides his TV appearances, he's also an accomplished character actor. He played the lead, of sorts, in the Thirteen Ghosts remake, and played the engineer character in the hilarious spoof 'Galaxy Quest'. Other credits include 'The Siege' with Bruce Willis.

People feel he's getting too much credit for Monk, but the character and his performance are just amazing, and the guy has generally been one of the unsung incredible talents in Hollywood for years now.

Even though Monk is with NBC/Universal, it's apparent that he's a Disney fan as he did work on Cars and was also seen at the Dead Man's Chest premiere.

I saw him at Disneyland, too! Though it was at the Pirates 2 premiere... Heh. I got his autograph, though. Pretty nice guy.
