Now don't get me wrong. I'm THRILLED that Jack is returning to HM but I thought I heard a "rumor" that Nightmare Before Christmas was not returning to Disneyland HM. I could have sworn I heard that.

Re: But I thought I heard....?
The "Rumor" started when the Disneyland Merchandising folks decided to no longer offer the special Merchandising events that were held the Thursday night prior to HMH opening for the season. And that is true, there are no special events this year.
Some folks thought that since there was no merchandising events, they wouldn't do the overlay. But many folks said it was going to happen, the Merchandising folks even placed a comment on their website saying that HMH would take place, and of course, when Disney came up with "Halloween Time", it was a given.
So it was just a rumor that made the rounds, never had any basis in fact.Check out my Theme Park Photos at http://darkbeer.smugmug.com

Re: But I thought I heard....?
Yeah I get confused about me too... (brain moves too fast for hands.)
Every year before they open up HMH to the public they hold a speical opening party, with a dinner inside the mansion, a ride through and a chance to see (and buy) the newest pins, hat etc. for HMH before it is out to everybody else.
It's expensive.

Re: But I thought I heard....?
Since we're on HMH rumors... Since Nightmare is being re-released in 3-D this season, do you think there's any chance of the 3-D elements that were rumored to be added to the layover last year will end up appearing this year?

My other Beef is that you can only see the original mansion for 7 months out of the year (2 months to put up/take down overlay, and shows for 3 months)
