Overall, not a terribly busy day - I think the longest line I saw was 30 minutes for Splash Mountain at peak times (11-4). There was a 9pm Fantasmic show, but no fireworks on Sundays - Fridays and Saturdays only for now!
First of all, the Vineyard Room and Wine Country Trattoria are open, but undergoing what appears to be an exterior refurbishment (or a fresh coat of paint):

I hadn't noticed this window display in DCA before, but it's very well done (and must have been there throughout the "summer of Pirates", but I just hadn't taken note of it):

Into the kitchen at the Mission Tortilla Factory (maseca!), for a quick snack:

And then it's over to Disneyland. Someone asked about the Redhead big fig:

It was cooler than Labor Day weekend, but still a nice enough day to enjoy Splash Mountain:

The above shot was of the Mara crown while the sun was sinking - caught the light a little.
Hit Space Mountain so that I could take a picture of the "rock" that was installed during the last complete refurb, but is apparently never used (might be a "rockit/rockin" issue, perhaps?). It's always dark so I wanted to see what it looks like:

And pictures of the newly added FROGS to Pirates of the Caribbean! There are small tree frogs on the trees in the Bayou - some green, some yellow, some reddish orange -- look closely on the left:

And tried to get a photo shot of Main Street at night (time lapsed):
