Hi, I know I saw a website once on a guy back east that bought a house similar then modified it outside and in to look like the real one in CA. But I was wondering if anyone knew of this or others who have built or transformed a house into a real Haunted Mansion replica? Thanks!

umm, yes... this year I am building the stretching room on the entrance of our haunted maze, I specialize in special effects and such so halloween is an all time favorite for me so I always do my grandmother's hous eup in extreme decorations, but the stretching room is a first this year all done on a budget of 200 dollars using servos and actuators.

I will have pics up from this year after it is over and during set up, sadly the pics I had from last year are gone.... the stretching room I actually call "the hellevator" but it was inspired by the stretching room. let me know if you would like to know any more infoOriginally posted by GothicManor View Post

One of the homes that the Haunted Mansion is based on is Stanton Hall in Natchez, Mississippi.
The guy who remodeled his house to look like the mansion is the Disney tatoo guy, but all of his exterior picture pages are now 404. I think he got too many uninvited guests snooping around his home. He does offer tours with an appointment.Comment
