I prefer Disneyland's. Our Splash Mountain is the only one that has the single-file rider style. And so, it makes Disneyland's a little more unique than from Walt Disney World's and Tokyo's Splash Mountain.
I used to like DLRs better when you sat in each others laps. I hate those high backed individual seats. now i prefer to sit next to someone in the more spacious logs at WDW.
I think DL and WDW style are both good. They seem to give out a different sense of riding... if you know what I mean. Like DL's feel more like its for you- it feels more private. WDW's feels more luxurious but you lose a certain feeling. It's kind of hard to explain, I hope someone understand what I'm trying to say though.
And yes, WDW's seems to be higher capacity...

I voted for Disneyland's because I believe the single seat only option instead of the two-seating arrangement they have at WDW allows you to see everything that is going around you without human heads interfering.
Is this home?
Am I here for a day or forever?
Shut away
From the world until who knows when
Oh, but then
As my life has been altered once
It can change again
Build higher walls around me
Change ev'ry lock and key
Nothing lasts, nothing holds
All of me
My heart's far, far away
Home and free!
^ good point. That's probably one of the reasons I like DL's.
So what if they made it to look like one big tree instead of 2?

Having just returned home today from a week at WDW I can say I prefer DL single log over the WDW double wide. On a side note I have to say DL kicks the MK butt anyday.
I may also be in the minority, but I prefer WDW's logs as well. As for the two-logs-meshing-into-one thing, I like to pretend that it's Disney magic that grew them that way... Really though, the logs do wonders for ride capacity.
And, this may be unpopular, but I prefer WDW's Spash to DLR's. The every-other-log timing for the splash right before "slippin' falls" is great!
I like the dl logs, btu I have never been to WDW..so I don't really know. I liked the logs better when they had more room in them. They are still cool, but I feel squished in them now.
