  • Teary Eyed

Anyone else get teary-eyed when they hear the closing announcement? With th fab-five singing the mouskiteer march? I do. And I've only heard it on my computer and iPod. Yup, I downloaded it so I could get sad about leaving Disneyland without ever going. :o

    What makes you teary eyed?

      and Donald Duuuuuck!

      I get teary eyed a lot...here are a few:

At the End on "Monster's Inc."
      Certain parts of "Finding Nemo"
The first time I saw the Aladdin musical show in DCA
The first time I walked into the Disney Annimation building in DCA

and that's all off the top of my head...

I think it's just the fact that when he comes into her room and goes, "...Boo??" all timid and then she's like, JOYFUL, "KITTY!" and his face turns into this grin like he's really missed her...

              OMG.

              Ok. i have to stop.

I'd also like to add that Lilo and Stitch is a movie I can cry m way through. Not even bambi or that scene in dumbo make me cry anymore...

When I reached the end of Bob Thomas' biography on Walt, well, that was tough to take. Yeah, I know the guy died, but still, after learning all about the dreams he had, it was tragic to see that life end so seemingly fast.

The first time we watched Believe in Holiday Magic with the snow effect, I had tears streaming down and my partner called me a big sissy! I'm proud of that moniker now! I also remember crying several times durring Beauty and the Beast at the El Capitan...

"Believe" was the show during Christmas where they had the snow at the end, right?

                              OMG.

The first time I saw that, I nearly cried as well. If I remember correctly, everything gets very quiet and the music is very subdued, and then veeeeerrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy softly, the snowflakes start falling. It was truly magical!!

Anytime I watch or listen to the Main Street Electrical Parade. Even in DCA. I become a BABY and I sob my eyes out. Even during the new fireworks, when the Electrical Parade music came on, I could not hold back!!

Yeah I got that too. So soon before Walt Disney World. Oh my god, what was it, 65 or 66? That is far too young for anyone, let alone Walt Disney to die. I just can't get my head around it. But I hate to say it - he was warned so many times to stop smoking.

I know, the first time I read that book, I didn't know he was a smoker. Part of me was just mad at him. I suppose maybe he knew it was coming, that's why he started to rush things in later life. Still, I can only imagine what he would have come up with if he lived another 10, 20 years.

Me too. The first time I actually got to see it live and in person was just a couple of years ago, with the "DCA Version". In truth, I'd always thought I'd never get to see it at all...better yet, I was able to get some tremendous unobstructed video from it, so I can watch it over and over when the wife's not around.
