Where's Fantasy In The Sky?

Is this fireworks show ever going to come back? It was a good, classic show.

I would find "Fantasy in the Sky" such a letdown after "Believe" and "Remember".

As would I. Both of those shows are replacements for Fantasy. It was old, and they wanted to do something with newer technology and more showmanship.
Fantasy in the Sky is gone.

I enjoyed fantasy in the sky too... but I would never go out of my way to see it.

Believe was better, a lot better in my mind... however I found myself using the fireworks as a time to get around people into shorter lines.

With remember, I stop every time and watch it! I can't keep my eyes off of the show, it's that good! I hope they never get rid of remember!

Yes, they trot out parts of it for the special New Years eve, Midnight show.

You'll find that MiceChat is really weird when it comes to remembering classic shows. Fantasy in the Sky played for almost 40 years in Disneyland, much to audience approval. In the late nineties, however, Fantasy in the Sky performed its last show to make way for a new show, which was Believe...There's Magic in the Stars. And they introduced its sister show, Believe...In Holiday Magic the same year. On New Year's Eve, Fantasy in the Sky is performed, even to this day, yet everyone loves it. When Believe closed to make way for Remember..., everyone was sad to see it go, much like they were sad to see Fantasy in the Sky go. But Believe closed early in 2005. So to commodate guests for the spring break period, Disney introduced Imagine...A Fantasy on the Sky. That should've been an indication that this new show was Fantasy in the Sky. Yet everyone was so "shocked" and "disappointed" when they put 2 and 2 together. Nothing but negativity and hatred toward the show. When I say everyone, I mean MiceChat. I don't know, everytime I saw Imagine, the crowd seemed to be very positive. It's only MiceChat that had their issues. So, it's kind of stupid to like Fantasy in the Sky during New Year's, but hate it when Imagine premiered.

I was really surprised with the New Years Eve 'Fantasy' fireworks......how very passe, and not as high-tech they were compared to 'Remember', or 'Believe'

I would have thought for NYE,there'd be something that would match the high-tech of 'Remember'.

But I guess since NYE only happens once a year, there's no reason to go all-out and try to outdo themselves.

...Just for something that's only going to be played once a year.
