Did Captain Jack get a haircut?

Did Jack get a haircut? Went to DL last night (I'll be posting lots of pictures and some video sometime today) and noticed on POTC that the FIRST Captain Sparrow seemed to have either:

A) Got his hair brushed
B) Got a hair cut

Because it doesn't look like this anymore....(or at least, it didn't last night)


His hair falls over his shoulder. Last night, well, his hair was above his shoulders and really, really, poofy and sticking outwards. I don't have a photo because my camera wasn't out, but I will grace you with my Paint skills of what it looked like. )

Man, he looks so real...

When i was there on the 9th. His hair was shorter also, but i thought it was always like that.

NOOOOOOO!!! Captain Jack CAN"T have short hair...that is one of the things (in my mind) that makes him sooooo sexy!!!!!!

i've barely noticed this now....whats with that scarf? is that to hide a seperation between his torso and neck or something?

Isn't it Disney employee standards to have hair over the ears and not hanging on the neckline? Also what's up with the facial hair? Boy Disney HR has gone easy on their employees!

Looks like Jack is suffering from what all men in their mid 40s suffer from!!!! Hair loss! Obviously ole Jack has not been taking care of his dreads! He may be using the wrong hair care products.

Eh, I'd have to see a picture of him now and place it next to the one above to make a distinction (and unfortunately I don't know when my next trip will be...).

That would seem to be the case, considering the range of movement that his head can do. The last Jack animatronic has the scarf as well. Most animatronics have some sort of collar to hide the neck joint or just have little to no head movement.

Do you think it was really a CM who cut his hair or maybe a teenager riding the ride at 11:59 PM with only him in the boat?

I don't know about the hair, but the first 2 Captain Jacks are outstanding, and the third one is just not right. I don't get that. Was it made by someone else?

i kinda noticed that too when i went on monday (9/18)

his hair seems a lot shorter than normal

maybe all that moving is fraying it
