No 50th Taggs for the FL CMs.... Why did they only not issue them theres... Amazing.. One land not in style.. looks like they wont appear on TV much....

Oh well... (holds box i got changed from Anaheim to Tampa...) Wonder whats in here...

I know many cms whos nametags have been lost. Lots of cast members who have transfered recently are having profound difficulty getting theirs (that makes like a quarter of the buzz lightyear cast members...a new 50th addition... without gold nametags). My nametag is lost actually got lost when i transfered between 2 departments. The problem is the process of having a new one made is going to be long until the team center starts making them. What a FIASCO! Also a lot of cms ended up with damaged ones I saw one that was completely melted and scratched on the back. Oh and I also heard that the cooks nametags have been melting because the material if different...dont know if thats true or not but its pretty funny.

i dont have mine either.. geeesh sucks!! Do you still have to work there to get one.. Im class of 2000 ..Hehehe j/k man i woudl feel out of place if i didnt have the golden name tag... That must suck... and for the cooks.. watch out for golden pebbles in you Monte Cristo.. heehee

OK, here is the scoop! It's not nearly as sinister as it sounds. The outside vendor they used to create the new name tags is behind and making rampant mistakes with names.

So, there was an executive decision made with the name tags: Until every CM in the land/division/building can get the new name tag, then they are not to be worn in that land/division/building - for the sake of uniformity.

So until all the orders for Fantasyland name tags (for example) can be filled correctly and completely, that land will stick with their old name tags. they'd rather have uniformity than mix and match name tags that vary from person to person.

All the resorts will get New nametags..but only Disneyland resort will recieve the golden nametags....

by the way after a full resort search mine (I am the only person with my particular spelling of name in the entire resort, can't imagine how they lost it!!)was located and I proudly got to wear it on May 4th for the meia event.

It would be funny to see 350 illegal aliens all wearing those nametags in fake Fantasyland costumes (lederhosen) trying to cross the border as a group.

My wife got hers on the 4th - looks very sharp!

Unfortunately it says 'Elizabeth' on it instead of 'Buffy' like her regular one did.
