FYI - The final performance of Remember... Dreams Come True will be on Saturday, November 4. The following weekend will see the return of Believe... In Holiday Magic.

remember ends the first weekend in NOV.

I'm not sure when the Remember fireworks show is ending, but it will before Xmas. From what I understand they are bring back the Xmas firework show that they have had (except for last year). "Remember" was only for the 50th and that ends on Sept 30th.

As for painting the castle, they are going to put it up in tarps again to repaint. I am to understand that it is too costly to keep it that bright so they are putting the lighter color back on. This way the fading won't be as noticeable. If and when this happens, I'm sure the Remember fireworks will also be stopped.

Of course this is all speculation. If you're visiting the park in October or November, you should check the schedule closer to your trip.

tell me, will the fire works ( the cool ones we had forthe 15 months ) still be going on when i get there on the 7th of october?? please say it will, I never did get tosee the fire works

They are sopposed to be the same. We have been hoping the same thing.
We will be there on the 7th, and my girls haven't seen "Remember" they really want to see it badly.

Does the calendar say they're doing Remember or just fireworks? I hope it's an old show or something, I'm tired of Remember.

Don't forget that paint fades in the sun. When they take the decorations off, it won't be faded.

well they havent said for sure they were going to tarp it.... I believe that they will just start taking things off when the park is closed like they have been doing with all of the other 50th stuff.

i agree ... the castle looked beautiful before they put the "bling on it"

Great pics. The only thing I can think of is if the crowns and bling were attached using some krazy glue or something that will chip the paint when they rip it off.

If Sleeping Beauty Castle is tarped and being painted, how will this effect Remember...Dreams Come True? More importantly, will Tink still fly?!? Anybody know? It's still listed on the Disneyland.com schedule. Thanks!

My think is that Disneyland will not do the Remember fire show. Disneyland may do one of the old fire work show only on the weekend. with only High firework shoot from the warehouse.

if disney do remember Firework may be cut out part the show. Like the fire on the castle in the part of Indiana Jones.

I don't see why they have to paint it. Can't they just take the gold stuff off? The paint still looks good IMO.

yeah... but the refurb for the Matterhorn mainly affects the track, right?... and the track doesn't lie up where the doors/area is where Tink takes off from... so I can't see how that would affect Tink from flying.

I don't know but I think tink will not fly as Matterhorn is under rehab as well.
