I like it too, but I think each resort should have it's own distinct logo.

I actually like it, especially with our own castle on it! But I'm curious to know, does this mean the original catch phrase, *the happiest place on earth* will no longer be used anymore???

I agree. When I go to DisneyLAND, I want something that says DisneyLAND, not Disney Parks. Plus, I think it is better marketing to have distinct logos for each park. I think that they feel the opposite and that to better the branding they should all match. In this case I feel they are wrong though and that each park is unique in its own right and therefore deserves its own logo.

Technically they havn't used this for a while, have they? 50th was 'Happiest Homecoming on Earth', before that it was 'Where the Magic Began'.

Where on that picture does it say 'Disney Parks'? Looks like it says Disneyland to me.

"The Happiest Place on Earth" moniker will always be something that is associated to Disneyland. Even if advertisements don't use it, I would say that many people understand what the statement refers to.

As for the logo, I think it looks great, but would love to see an equally unique and powerful logo for DCA.

The new Disneyland Resort tag line... "A Magical Place, Where Dreams Come True". It is already showing up in the park.

NO! NO! NO! It's just another generic logo. Expect to see it soon at Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland as the replacement for the current shooting stars logos.
