I had ordered the 6 CD LE set from Disney Direct during the afternoon of 4/26 and was told that it was backordered until the end of May. This afternoon I called Disney Delivears to order the Disneyland 2 CD set and asked about ordering the 6 CD LE set. The cast member told me that I could order one - guaranteed that it would be the LE (gold vinyl) version - and that it would ship out on Monday. You may want to call them up and see if you can get the 6 CD set a few weeks earlier.

6 CD "History of Disneyland" set

I'm headed over to Disneyland tomorrow for the special May 4th thingy. I know this may sound like a really stupid question, but do you think I'll be able to get my hands onone of the "Limited edition" sets (the ones with the gold record) tomorrow at Downtown Disney?

They seem really spending for me: But, yet, I can't help but thinking about buying one. Would it be wrong if I bought it, took it home, stared in awe at it without opening it, then sold it on eBay?
